Games like Guitar Hero have hit the gaming scene in the past. But none of them have refined the genre as much as Guitar Hero. They have single handedly sold more then one billion games in a couple of years.

DJ Hero
This game is a departure from the regular game but still has some of the same elements. Taking risks is not something that many developers do. But they made Dj Hero a great game.
The game has some really dynamic graphics and fun animation that will hype you up. Too bad you will not be able to see it because you will focus on hitting the right buttons.
The music is the best part of the game. There is a whole list of diverse music from various genres that has been mixed perfectly to sound excellent.
There are two types of controllers that you can use. The turn table that comes with the game or the guitar from Guitar Hero.
Guitar Hero
This game is the grand father of the all the games, it set the bar real high. This is a good thing, because we as gamers benefit from great games.
The graphics of the band playing on stage is also very cool. Too bad you won’t be able to pay attention to it.
It is advisable to start on the easy mode. I know this might sound bad, because most gamers skip easy and start with medium or hard. But those modes will be to tough to tackle for a beginner.
The game is also very funny. Just look at the crazy bands that play on stage.
Guitar Hero 5
The presentation of this game is top notch. The developers have removed all the clutter which makes it easy for gamers to browse quickly and start playing.
The game does not introduce that many new elements. You cannot blame the developers though. How can you improve on a game that already had great game play and controls.
The animation and graphics has been touched up and is up to par with current games on the market.
We just looked at some of the better Hero games. There have been many copy cats that have come on the scene, but none can hold a candle to the Guitar games.
