You’ve seen movies like “Pretty in Pink” one too many times and you start relating to Ducky, the lead character’s best friend, in the manner that you feel invisible to women and are usually considered to be somebody that can easily be passed off in favor of the college heartthrob or the sports jock who is blessed to the core, with good looks and a larger than life persona. The fact is, you don’t really need all that in order just to become popular with the ladies. I know, you sometimes feel like women are missing out on a good person with such gentlemanly tendencies and a bright mind. But, have you ever made any effort at all, instead of whining and complaining in front of your own mirror? Let’s face it, you won’t get anywhere without making any extra effort on yourself. As they say, you can only be loved by others once you learn to love yourself wholeheartedly, and that’s the first step in knowing how to attract women.
In order to do so, you have start looking at yourself as somebody who can be valued as more than just a best friend or brother figure. You should start exhibiting traits and qualities which women find attractive and other guys find admirable. Don’t fidget around when you’re in a conversation with a woman – be yourself, as natural as possible. A good level of confidence can grab a woman’s attention, and, especially when in a social setting, can make you the life of the party. Forget everything you know about money and cars and power. All women, the best ones, would ever really need is somebody who’s got a great personality.
Some men also have this tendency to bore women through conversation. Why? Well, it could often be because they’re talking way too much about themselves, how they achieved this, how they achieved that, etc. Women don’t like a one-sided conversation. Instead, if you like to attract a woman, you need to be a good listener as well. But don’t just listen all the time; exchange some of your ideas with her. It’s called a conversation, after all, so there isn’t much use to it when only one of you is talking. Apart from that, you can slip in a bit of playfulness when you talk, joking around and teasing her gently. This can bring out the fun aspect of a conversation, thus getting her engaged in the conversation.
Sometimes, women respond to the most unexpected circumstances, and even positively if I may say so. Taking the traditional approach in dating may work, but why settle for a simple dinner and movie date when you could invite her on a picnic during the weekend and play Foosball at the local arcade? Learning to play things up a little can showcase your adventurous side, sparking a lot of interest from a woman. If you show her something she’s not used to, you just might end up being one of her most memorable dates, and I mean that in a good way. And that, my friends, is how to attract women.
